Congratulations to the eight children who were announced today as the winners of our Stevenage Football Club Supporters Association badge design competition. Lots of children through the school took part in the competition set by our local football club. They had to design a new membership badge for the SFCSA. A winner was chosen from each class by staff at the football club. The winners were announced in a special whole-school assembly this morning and were presented with a winners medal and their design by Lewis who leads on school partnership for SFC. All pupils at Roebuck are automatically members of SFCSA and this gives our families good discounts on many SFC products and in local restaurants and retailers. It gives each child a membership badge and card, as well as discounted rates to buy match tickets at The Lamex. It also gives one child each half term the chance to be the SFC matchday mascot where they get to lead the players out on to the pitch at the start of a EFL game.
