  • Spring time in Nursery

    This week in Nursery we have begun to notice the changes from Winter to Spring. We went on a Spring walk to see if we could spot signs of Spring. We noticed buds on trees, bumble bees and daffodils growing around the school. We discussed that it is time to prepare the Nursery garden, ready for planting fruits and vegetables.  The children have been busy weeding the flower beds and filling them with fresh soil. We then planted some onion bulbs as these take a long time to grow.  We can't wait to watch how these change over time!

  • Down on the Farm

    This week in Nursery, we have introduced our new topic of 'Down on the Farm'. The children were very excited to find that our role play area has transformed into a farm shop with a hay bale! The children have been busy exploring the farm related activities. These included milking a cow, painting with mud, small world farm and exploring both fiction and non-fiction books to find out about life on a farm.
