Year 1 have had a great week starting our new topic Animal Antics! In Geography used an Atlas to learn where the seven continents of the world are. We began to explore Africa and eventually found Kenya, a country we will be learning lots about as we go on a Safari tour. In Science we continued to build on our knowledge of animals and drew pictures of our pets at home. To finish our week, we had a great fun dressing up for our Monster Phonics day. We spent the day playing lots of phonics games and greatly enjoyed our visit from Green Froggy! In Year 1 we are Phonics Experts!
