From the age of 7, Catherine Lomax wanted to either be an actress or a  Zoologist , because she liked animals. Having studied hard at school  and successfully achieved her GCSE's and A levels, Katherine then went onto University where she changed her mind and direction of the career  that she wanted to pursue. Instead of acting she decided to become more involved behind the scenes rather than on stage. Her current job is at the Gordon Craig, where  she the artistic director  and this involves organising drama classes and Art workshops for older children. As a nugget of wisdom for the children, Catherine said to choose to do something that you love as you will be more likely to be successful at it.
