  • Harvest Festival

    On Thursday morning the whole school took part in our Harvest Festival. All of the children brought in a gift that will be donated to a local charity where we can help local people at a difficult time in their lives. Our donations are going to the Herts Young Homeless Group. Thank you to everybody who has donated and to all of the children for the wonderful singing and participation during the service.

  • Basketball Festival

    A team of Year 5 and 6 children participated in a Basketball Festival on Wednesday. They took part in six games, winning two of them and running close in a range of others.

    The team represented the school fantastically well during the tournament showing good levels of commitment, teamwork and sportsmanship. They improved their skills throughout the festival and can take good heart from their achievements.

  • Champion classes at reading!

    Well done to Maple class, Year 4 and Year 5 who have all won last week's whole-school reading challenge. 70% of children in Maple class read at least 4 times in the week at home and 65% of children in both Years 4 and 5 read at least 4 times in the week at home. Maple class were presented with the KS1/Early Years trophy and Years 4 and 5 were presented with the KS2 trophy to share. We are very proud of all of these children. Let's see which class is the best next week?...
