Welcome to Brighter Days at Roebuck Academy

We are fortunate to have the use of a large area of a relatively new build school.

We are based in Buccaneers, and also have access to the large hall, playground, field and woodland area.

At Brighter Days there are plenty of activities for the children to do both inside and outside.

We regularly plan outings and trips in the local area and further afield as shown in our gallery.

We have had a great start since opening in July 2018 and enjoy welcoming new families each term.

Our experienced team are always on hand to help he children grow and develop especially social skills.

The children love being outside, being physical and are often found dancing away to some cheesy music. We are based in the life learning area with a small area for quiet time. We are able to use the large school field as well as the hall.

We have access to tablets and laptops, so the children have a wide variety of activities to keep them fully engaged until home time! Your child will have a healthy, nutritious choice of drink, breakfast or a light tea during their time at the club. Various activities both indoors and outdoors will be available every session as list of activities.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Brighter Days Kids Club and introduce you to the team who will be base at Roebucks. Throughout the school year there may be other playworkers covering holidays but these are the core team members.

Please note:

Payment must be paid daily; or weekly/monthly in advance

Payment methods: Online banking, vouchers or cash on agreement

Please note Brighter Days will not be held responsible for the damage or loss of any toys, clothing or games brought in to the setting by children. Please also ensure all personal belongings are clearly labelled.

To ensure a place at the holiday club all regular sessions must be pre-booked. Please note that adhoc days can be booked but we require as much notice as possible (unless in cases of emergency) to ensure we are appropriately staffed and allowing us enough time to arrange refreshments and supplies.

If you arrive late for collection you will automatically be charged an additional hours session of £4, if collection is after 6pm when we close a late payment charge of £5 per 15 minutes will be applied. We have a no refund policy (please see policy and procedures tab). If you wish to change a session booked please let us know via email at least 4 weeks prior to te session start date. We will try our best to book an alternate date.

Registration Fees

Please note a £20 per family registration fee is payable on your child first session. This needs to be in an envelope labeled with the child’s name. In the envelope can you please also fill in the attached all about me sheet to help us get to know the children better.

For changes and/or cancellations we require written notice 4 weeks in advance.

Any changes after this is not guaranteed, and any cancellations will still be charged at full price.

A registration form and a about me form must be completed for each child prior to attending the setting.

Drop Off & Collection Point

Please drop off and collect the children from main entrance.
