At Roebuck Academy we take our statutory safeguarding duty seriously.  All staff within the school have a responsibility to promote the welfare and safety of all children and report any incidents or potential signs of neglect and/or abuse or causes for concern to the school's Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL).

The school's DSL's are:

Ms Lynsey Young  (Safeguarding Lead and Headteacher)

Mr A Mari  (Deputy Headteacher)

Mrs J Fisher   (Senco)

Mrs C Johnson (Pastoral Leader)

Mrs G McGregor (Extended Provison Manager)

Staff at Roebuck have a responsibility to safeguard children. If you ever have a concern about a child or a member of staff then please contact one of our designated safeguarding leads as detailed above.

Safeguarding posters can be located around the school as well being placed prominently on  classroom doors.

We encourage you to also phone 0300 123 4043 if you have a concern about a child or anyone
else outside school. Do not wait or try to pass onto someone else. Always recognise, respond and refer.
