Therefore, children are expected to come to school appropriately dressed in our school uniform. School uniform can be purchased direct from both School Trends or from Tescos. Please name all your child’s clothing clearly.

A lost property box can be found in the Key Stage 1 school corridor. This box is cleared at the end of each term.

Jewellery should not be worn for school. Children with pierced ears must wear studs – no more than one pair. Earrings must be removed for PE by the child, who must also take responsibility for them.

The wearing of make-up is not appropriate and is not allowed.

Winter Coats

A warm winter coat is essential for all children. We ask all children to wear a bold and bright jacket so that they are visible in the dark winter months. The children have a morning, afternoon (KS1) and a lunch break. Unless it is raining heavily, all of these breaks take place in the playground. In cold weather, children should have gloves and a hat.

Summer Hats

In the summer the children should have a lightweight sunhat (white or blue) to wear when it is hot.

We also discourage extravagant hairstyles e.g. ‘shaved patterns in hair’, brightly coloured hair bands and hair adornments
