In Year 2, we were very excited to welcome our special visitor, Samual Pepys, who came to inspire us with our diary writing in Literacy! We asked lots of questions and found out more details about the Great Fire of London.

In Science, we have been material detectives! We investigated different materials to find out which would make the best curtains for blocking out sunlight and we explored which material would make the best bouncy ball. Mrs Hudgells' teabags kept breaking so we also helped her find out what material was best suited to make new teabags.

In PE, we have been enjoying having a cricket coach who has been helping us develop our throwing, catching and batting skills while practising teamwork!
