Technology Day

Roebuck Primary School and Nursery pupils have had a wonderful day celebrating technology. Many thanks to one of our dads who led our assembly and shared how Ocado use technology to help their customers. We also had robots brought into school for several year groups to explore using. Thank you to Stevenage museum who worked with Early years looking at what life was like at home before technology improved. Year 2 visited Tescos. Year 4 visited the lamex stadium (Stevenage Football Club's ground). Many thanks to one of our mums who brought an ambulance in to school and to the local community police officers who also visited. Barnwell School and Thomas Alleyne School kindly came to teach our pupils about car robot wars and coding. The children has such an inspriational day full of learning experiences. Thank you to all the staff for planning a wide range of activities including a QR code trail. In the afternoon, we were also visited by a Healthy Schools advisor.

Please ask your children about their learning experience today. The picture is a healthy food robot made by a child in Year 2. More photos will be added to the website shortly.
