Lately, in Year 6, we have been in 4 different groups as part of our SAT's revision, doing maths and guided reading. In maths, we have been focusing on money, algebra, 3D shapes and many more. In guided reading, all 4 groups have been focusing on 2 texts called Raiders' Peril and The Amazing Octopus. We have been answering different styles of questions to help us get used to the questions we might be asked. In PE, we have been doing cricket and trying different techniques on how to bowl and how to aim. In history, we have been learning about the Mayas. We have drawn Maya symbols and even had a go at making a Mayan calendar.
