A fantastic start to the new academic year for year 6. We started off by exploring the work of a James Mayhew in Literacy,  and we used this to inspire our own setting descriptions and also studied the work of Monet. We enjoyed a fantastic assembly where we actually met James Mayhew and took part in his workshop. In Maths, we have been exploring numbers up to 10 million, using different resources to represent this. In Science, we have used our prior knowledge of different living things to classify them into groups.
