This week in Reception we have been learning all about the celebration of Eid. As Ramadan draws to a close, Muslims all over the world will be celebrating Eid al-Fitr. Eid marks the end of a month of fasting from dawn to sunset, as well as spiritual reflection and prayer.
We know that Eid is celebrated in lots of different ways. The children enjoyed lots of different Eid activities such as having some designs drawn on their hands with henna, colouring some Eid cards and decorating a moon and stars. The children also had a visit from Zarghaam's mum to learn all about this special festival. Well done everyone!
