Year 6 heading towards the end!

Year 6 have been very hard at work in preparation for their upcoming SATs tests. After the Easter break, the children have thrown themselves back into the routine of revision sessions in the lead up to the deadline of the 9th May. Despite the frenetic activity in the Year 6 classroom, there has also been some time for other things. Whilst the netballers were busily coming second at the Netball festival the rest of the class were trying to make periscopes to finish off the “How we see” science unit. There were some notable successes and some “smashing” attempts at making the periscopes work. In addition to this, the class have been developing their catching and throwing skills with the imminent House lacrosse competition on the horizon.
