Year 6 visit to Affinity water
Year 6 spent the day at Affinity water in Bushey finding out about how we get our water and how River systems work. The children toured the water tratement site finding out how the water is cleaned and made ready for us to drink as well as learning about the way in which the water then is transported through the different courses of the river system. As well as this they took part in a "Lunchbox" challenge where the wast from their lunchboxes was sorted into different types of waste. As you can see from the class photo we managed to successfully complete the challenge with zero waste- something only 3 other schools have achieved this calendar year so far.
