This week in Nursery we have been learning about firefighters and their jobs. We discussed fire safety and how to keep ourselves safe around fire. We all walked down to creature corner and used wooden sticks to create a campfire in the fire pit. We had a snack of marshmallows and talked about what we could hear, see and smell whilst sitting around the fire. We were very proud of how safe and sensible the children were whilst there.
This week in Nursery we have been looking for signs of Winter all around us. We went on a welly walk and noticed that it was cold and icy. We looked at the trees and the plants and talked about that in the Winter there are no buds or flowers on any of the plants.
The children have been busy creating winter art and have enjoyed mark making in the ice and frost.
