Healthy learning in Year 5

Over the last 2 weeks in Year 5 have been visited by Stevenage Football Club, who have been coming in and teaching the children about healthy lifestyles and the positive impact of exercise on our bodies. As well as in class lessons, they have also run a number of practical PE lessons encouraging our children to try and be as active as possible and reduce our screen time at home.
We have also recently finished our independent writing in literacy, where children across the year group wrote lovely stories based on the short movie and picture book ‘the Varmints’
