Extra-curricular clubs & activities

At Roebuck Academy, we offer a variety of clubs and activities outside of the regular school day. It is our aim to:

  • ensure that every child has access to a range of academic, creative, musical and physical activities
  • develop programmes that meet the needs of all pupils, including those with learning and physical disabilities
  • provide enjoyable experiences, where positive attitudes of teamwork and co-operation, competition and tolerance may develop.

We offer a range of after-school activities that supplement and support children’s learning outside of the regular school day. Clubs are run by a mixture of staff and adults from external organisations.

A variety of free clubs are offered for children in Year’s Reception to Year Six. To ensure that all children can participate it is essential that your child is committed to attending the club for at least a term. If your child is involved with football, netball, athletics or other team events it is vital that they attend training sessions and are able to attend competitions.
